Akash Mukherjee is a talented individual who has found success both as a landscape photographer and as an IT professional. With a passion for
capturing the beauty of nature, Akash has honed his skills behind the lens to create breathtaking photographs that showcase the awe-inspiring landscapes found all around us. However, his talents extend beyond photography.

This was the only shot that I took that night and I never doubted the composition I chose. Unlike other commonly seen perspective of this arch from the ground; I chose to be on a height, standing on a very small platform with just enough space to rest my feet and the tripod at it’s most unstable position where it could topple anytime with the slightest of a touch. I stood there patiently for at least an hour and half to complete my series of shots and also making sure neither I nor the tripod topples.
My idea behind the shot was to make your eyes follow the curvy line on the wall towards the arch which in turn takes you into the Stars and Milky Way. I hope I have done justice to the shot and hope you guys enjoy it. Without doubt this is a brilliantly thought of composition showing us how the things that we overlook so easily can make such a big difference. This was originally shot by two best friends and brilliant photographers @ryandyar and @milesmorganphotography , full credit goes to them to show us how you knock a shot out of the park. I am also grateful to @arpandas_photography_adventure for being an inspiration and a guiding force.
Now coming onto my part of the story, I drove for 5 hours with my friend all the way to this spot so that we can atleast get this composition. It was almost a torture to cross Death Valley when it was throwing 114 degree Fahreneit on our face but every effort looked worth it when we made it to the place and rehearsed our composition. It was a great Sunset followed by some Milkyway fun and then an awesome Sunrise.
You cannot ask for a better evening which includes your Camera,Family,Friends,Stars,Food and a lot of Gossips. Indeed, I would like to remember it as a "Cactiliciuos Evening".
